North Liberty, IA (June 5, 2025) — Steindler Surgery Center (SSC) proudly announces that it has achieved dual accreditation status from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), marking a significant milestone in its mission to deliver high-quality, patient-centered musculoskeletal care. With this accreditation now completed, SSC is officially open to serve the public.
Dual status through AAAHC signifies both Medicare Deemed Status and organizational accreditation, verifying that SSC meets the stringent federal standards necessary to treat Medicare beneficiaries and adheres to nationally recognized best practices in safety, quality, and patient care.

AAAHC accreditation is given to organizations that complete a thorough, independent survey evaluating compliance with over 600 standards, including patient rights, clinical care, infection prevention, and governance. Dual status signifies that SSC not only meets these national standards but also qualifies to bill Medicare for outpatient procedures — a crucial step in broadening access to care for the entire community.
Steindler Surgery Center specializes in outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal procedures, which include joint replacements, sports medicine, spine surgery, hand and foot procedures, and image-guided pain management.
